HISTORY
The project of original Building was initiating by chairman of Ružomberok Catholic association Msgr. Andrej Hlinka .
The author of the project was Mr. Ján Peško. The corner stone was laid and blessed on 19th of May 1927.
To finance this building was used gift by Msgr. Andrej Hlinka, the rest was paid by foreign Slovaks living in America.
The Hotel Kultúra was opened and blessed by bishop Ján Vojtašák 30th of December 1928.
Since that time until today is City Hotel Kultúra*** a heart of cultural and social life of the Ružomberok.
